Ryan Janes serves as the Director of the Planning Studio. As a design professional, Ryan has combined leadership, work ethics, and creative design to develop a collaborative environment while intertwining the Planning Studio’s role with the other studios of the firm. His wide range of experience in mixed use, retail, and residential projects on an international level has amassed a solid amount of design knowledge within a strong team setting. Ryan lends his experience to greater community efforts through his work on ULI TAPS

Ryan joined BCT in 2018 and brings a modern approach to his work through the utilization of leading software and technology to bring projects to life. Ryan focuses on placemaking and design achieved through an immersive process to yield the best results not only for BCT’s clients, but for our mission as community focused designers.

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Catholic University in 2010.
